So, how would it grow well and get rid of pest ? Hmm, actually farmer would use biological method like grow some plants that the pest fear of. As for the crops process, it must follow organic crops standard where its land must have no prohibited substances for at least 3 years. Soil fertility will be gained from crops rotation, Eg, 1st year with this plant, next year will be different plant.
In general, organic food would normally cost 2 times costly than the non-organic foods. This is because its production cost is much higher. They use high cost organic fertilizer. In term of color and taste, some organics would look little bit different from the color we normally see. Eg, egg yolk , vegetable, fruit and etc..
Let's talk about benefits of organic food. Why do we need to eat organic food ? Actually organic food can prevent us from eating chemical compound which are mostly found in the foods we eat daily. Without chemical compound, we can absorb optimum nutrition from the foods. It's more fresher.
Organic farming would have least detrimental to environment. It reduce pollution, increase soil fertility and save more energy for the earth.
Speaking of organic fruit, it can provide more antioxidant nutrition.
